Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will work closely with the Internal Audit Manager and engage directly with management teams to execute the internal audit strategy, strengthen the control environment across the company and its subsidiaries, and provide clear insights to enhance the strategic influence of the Internal Audit department.

Key responsibilities

• Identify key risks and controls during engagement planning.
• Manage internal audit resources to complete assignments within agreed timeframes.
• Evaluate audit findings, assess business impact and collaborate with management to define action plans.
• Leverage and optimise information systems to improve audit efficiency and effectiveness.
• Draft internal audit reports for management review.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and contribute to value‑added projects that support company growth.
• Maintain current knowledge of leading internal audit practices and business developments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or ACCA Level 2) in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years’ experience as an internal auditor, preferably in the FMCG sector.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent written communication and ability to influence at different organisational levels.
• Good organisational and time‑management skills.
• Solid business acumen.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite (advantage).
