Senior Manager Cyber Security

About the role

The Security Manager provides security services to all entities of the company by hiring, training and managing Security Engineers and Specialists. The role reports to the Group CISO in the Switzerland HQ and executes the relevant parts of the Group Security Strategy.

Key responsibilities

• IT Security Advisory: security architecture, change validation, documentation and diagrams, firewall rules review
• Vulnerability management (monitoring, hardening, scanning, patching) and penetration tests
• Security incident management: assessing, resolving, dispatching and escalating incidents
• Design, development, implementation and monitoring of security controls (ISO 27001, PCI DSS) and group ISMS management
• Internal and external audit management: evidence preparation, interview coordination, findings management and follow-up
• Cyber-security risk management and risk assessments
• Local responsibility in the MU Center for BCP, facilities security and safety

Required profile

• Degree in IT Security or Computer Science with a strong security orientation
• 8-10 years of IT experience, including at least 7 years in IT Security
• 3-5 years as a line manager, with experience building teams (interviewing, selecting and hiring)
• Experience in multinational companies, preferably in the IT industry
• One or more security certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM)
• Fluent written and spoken English; fluent spoken French is an advantage

Required skills

• Broad knowledge of IT security: systems and network security, firewalls, VPN, crypto, scripting/coding, tooling
• Practical understanding of ISO 27001 / 27002
• Basic project management skills
• Leadership, problem solving, proactive and results-oriented approach
