Automation and Transformation Lead (m/f/d)

About the role

Allianz Services, part of Allianz Group, is looking for an Automation and Transformation Lead (m/f/d) to drive the organization's automation and transformation agenda. The role identifies opportunities to optimize processes, improve efficiency, reduce manual effort and accelerate digital adoption, acting as a bridge between Business, Operations, IT, Digital and external partners. It owns the transformation roadmap, governance framework and continuous improvement culture.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the automation strategy, build the automation pipeline and roadmap, and lead RPA, workflow automation, AI and digital solutions
• Lead end-to-end transformation programs, including process mapping, gap analysis and business process re-engineering
• Act as interface between Business, Operations, IT, Risk, Compliance, Procurement and external vendors, run workshops and report progress to executive leadership
• Set up governance, define KPIs and dashboards, track benefits realization and ROI, and ensure compliance with policies, regulations and audits
• Develop change management strategies, build automation champions and deliver training and coaching
• Evaluate AI, GenAI, Process Mining, IDP and workflow solutions and promote a culture of innovation

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT, Operations Management or related field; Master's or MBA an advantage
• 7-10+ years of experience in automation, business transformation, operational excellence or change management
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-wide automation and transformation programs
• Experience in financial services, insurance, shared services or operations preferred

Required skills

• Certifications preferred: Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, PMP / Prince2, UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere or Blue Prism, Agile / Scrum, Change Management (Prosci preferred)
• Technical: Process Mapping (Visio, Signavio, ARIS), Power Platform, UiPath and RPA, Process Mining (Celonis, Signavio Process Intelligence), data analytics and dashboarding, project portfolio management
• Behavioral competencies: stakeholder management, leadership and influence, analytical problem solving, results orientation
