Showroom Sales Specialist

About the role

Tileline, a British family‑owned porcelain manufacturer operating in Mauritius, is looking for a Showroom Sales Specialist to join its Trianon showroom. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience from the first visit through after‑sales support.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and guide showroom visitors, understand their needs and present appropriate porcelain and tile solutions.
• Provide detailed product information and create inspiring interior concepts.
• Prepare quotations, process orders and ensure smooth after‑sales follow‑up.
• Maintain and refresh showroom displays and product knowledge.
• Support promotional activities and collaborate with the sales and design teams to meet sales targets and strengthen the brand.

Required profile

• Experience in tile showrooms or retail environments, managing product displays and customer flow.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for diverse customers and team members.
• Proven consultative selling, negotiation and closing abilities.
• Interest or experience in interior design to suggest aesthetic solutions.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with POS, CRM or sales software.
• Fluency in English; additional local languages are a plus.
• Previous experience in ceramics, tiles, building materials or home décor is an asset.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Port Louis, including weekends or extended hours when required.
