Social Media Specialist

About the role

STM Consulting is seeking a dynamic Social Media Specialist to lead its regional social media strategy across Africa. Reporting to the Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager, you will guide a team of Social Media Executives and Content Creators to ensure a unified, relevant, and impactful brand voice.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute region‑specific social media strategies aligned with corporate marketing goals and local market nuances.
• Oversee planning and implementation of campaigns tailored to diverse African audiences, cultures, and languages.
• Guide content creation teams, review and approve content strategies, and promote innovative formats such as video, live sessions, and influencer collaborations.
• Lead community engagement efforts, monitor regional metrics, respond to escalated issues, and build influencer and partner relationships.
• Coordinate regional campaigns, collaborate with agencies and partners, and manage paid social media budgets for optimal reach.
• Establish KPIs, use analytics tools to collect and visualize data, and set up real‑time dashboards for performance monitoring.
• Analyze audience demographics, sentiment, and content success to produce visual reports for stakeholders.
