Software Developer III

About the role

Dayforce is seeking a Software Developer III to design, build, and enhance cloud‑based HCM solutions. You will work within an energetic Agile team, collaborating with developers, test engineers, product managers, and technical writers to deliver high‑quality features.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement new products and features on the Dayforce platform.
• Enhance existing solutions and optimize full‑stack performance.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices such as design patterns and unit testing.
• Participate in the complete software lifecycle: analysis, design, prototyping, coding, testing, and support.
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure functional completeness and engineering excellence.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience with C# and the .NET Framework.
• Strong background in T‑SQL, relational databases, and RESTful services.
• Proficiency in front‑end technologies: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, jQuery.
• Hands‑on experience with unit‑testing frameworks and applying design patterns.
• Experience with cloud‑based microservice architectures.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) and ability to validate AI‑generated code.
• Self‑starter attitude, disciplined work ethic, and excellent communication skills within an Agile environment.
