Software Developer

About the role

Dayforce is looking for a Software Developer to join its high‑performing scrum team and help evolve its award‑winning Cloud HCM platform. You will work on the full software lifecycle, delivering new SaaS features that improve productivity and compliance for a global workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, design, prototype, code, test, troubleshoot and support end‑to‑end software solutions.
• Collaborate with clients, implementation partners and internal teams to deliver new features.
• Create and enhance a scalable SaaS enterprise application.
• Assess risks and impacts of new functionality on existing systems.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Required profile

• Expert‑level proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Strong experience with relational databases and T‑SQL.
• Proven track record designing, developing and deploying robust, scalable enterprise software.
• Deep understanding of object‑oriented design, design patterns, performance optimisation and debugging.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Solid front‑end development skills using modern frameworks (React, Angular or Vue) and responsive design.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Codeium).
