Sourcing & Buying Planner – Procurement & Planning Role

About the role

The Sourcing & Buying Planner sits at the core of operations, working closely with an Account Manager on dedicated accounts. The role combines sourcing new products and ideas with end‑to‑end buying and planning, ensuring orders are delivered on time, on brief, and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Source products and ideas for clients, respond to requests from Account Managers or directly from clients.
• Manage supplier price requests, compare offers and select the best quality‑to‑price ratio.
• Prepare quotes, create presentations and liaise with the Graphic Design department to align artworks with brand guidelines.
• Issue invoices for delivered orders or advance payments.
• Place orders with suppliers, issue purchase orders and verify compliance with company procedures.
• Coordinate the full order lifecycle: confirm artwork approval, request pre‑production samples, manage carriers and warehouses, and ensure timely delivery.
• Cross‑check supplier invoices against purchase orders and submit job cards for accounting.
• Plan and prioritize multiple active projects while providing day‑to‑day support to the Graphic Design team.

Required profile

• Experience with CRM tools and strong customer service orientation.
• Knowledge of strategic sourcing, procurement and supply chain management.
• Ability to handle production planning and understand printing techniques.
• Proficiency with IT systems relevant to procurement and planning.

What we offer

• Salary range: 30,000 – 45,000 MUR per month, depending on experience.
• Working hours: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. with flexibility to align with business hours (11 a.m. – 7 p.m.).
• Hybrid work model after 6 months (minimum 3 days onsite per week).
• Health insurance after one year (⅔ of costs covered).
• Transportation allowance.
