Supply Chain Technician

About the role

Vygon is seeking a Supply Chain Technician to support the end‑to‑end flow of medical devices. You will ensure stock levels are maintained, source products globally and guarantee timely deliveries while complying with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain optimal stock levels at all times.
• Source products worldwide, balancing cost, quality, lead‑time and supplier performance.
• Issue purchase orders and follow up with local and international suppliers.
• Ensure all orders are delivered within agreed timelines and monitor back‑orders.
• Submit shipping documents to freight forwarders and oversee rapid customs clearance.
• Forward invoices to the accounting department.
• Prepare export documentation such as delivery notes, invoices and packing lists.
• Organise shipments in coordination with carriers and freight forwarders.
• Submit required applications to relevant authorities.
• Update purchase and export reports and archive all documents in a structured manner.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the Supply Chain Manager.

Required profile

• Ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent negotiation, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Knowledge of Incoterms.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Initiative and a positive “can‑do” attitude.
• Rigor, precision and strong attention to detail.
• Degree in Purchasing, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in purchasing and export activities.
