Team Leader, Finance

About the role

Ocorian, a fund services provider serving asset managers, financial institutions, corporates, high net-worth individuals and family offices, is hiring a Team Leader for its Global Accounting team. You will lead financial reporting and accounting operations across a portfolio of international jurisdictions, combining technical accounting expertise with people leadership to support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own accounting and financial reporting activities across a designated portfolio of jurisdictions
• Deliver accurate management accounts, financial reporting and performance analysis
• Act as a technical accounting partner on standards, policies and reporting requirements
• Oversee month-end and year-end reporting
• Support statutory accounts, tax reporting and regulatory submissions across multiple entities
• Partner with auditors, regulators and stakeholders on audit and compliance
• Lead balance sheet reviews, cash flow reporting and financial controls
• Identify process improvements, automation and efficiencies
• Coach and develop team members
• Contribute to global finance initiatives and the centralisation of finance processes

Required profile

• Part-qualified ACCA, ACA or equivalent professional accounting qualification
• Finance, accounting or financial reporting experience, including supporting reporting and audit across multiple entities or jurisdictions
• Strong analytical skills and excellent communication and stakeholder skills

Required skills

• IFRS, management accounting, statutory reporting, tax and VAT
• ERP and finance systems; NavOne, Caseware or similar is beneficial
