Trading & Middle Office Associate

About the role

This full‑time position sits on SCRYPT's Trading Desk covering the critical evening and weekend window. You will work directly with senior traders and middle‑office staff across EMEA, APAC and LATAM, taking ownership of trade execution, settlement and desk operations from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Provide quotes and execute OTC trades for institutional clients.
• Manage and monitor the OTC trading desk, handling fund inflows and outflows.
• Ensure accurate and timely settlement of crypto and fiat payments.
• Resolve settlement issues and discrepancies with internal teams.
• Support liquidity management across departments.
• Act as product owner for new features and automation initiatives.
• Identify and grow upsell opportunities within existing client accounts.
• Maintain compliance with KYC/AML regulations and keep trading activity reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field.
• 0‑3 years of experience in institutional crypto trading or middle‑office functions.
• Strong interest and knowledge of the crypto industry and financial markets.
• Excellent numerical, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, start‑up environment and make quick decisions.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas).
