Trust Accountant – Portfolio of Trusts & Companies

About the role

We are seeking a Trust Accountant to manage the accounting and financial affairs of a diverse portfolio of trusts and offshore companies (Guernsey and BVI). Reporting to the Manager/Director, you will ensure accurate, timely delivery of accounting services in line with our procedures and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver accounting services for a complex portfolio of trusts and offshore companies.
• Prepare bank reconciliations, financial statements, and management accounts under IFRS/GAAP.
• Handle statutory returns, audit liaison, and quarterly investment reviews.
• Review draft financial statements and address outstanding review points promptly.
• Maintain short turnaround times for client correspondence.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience with global business clients.
• ACCA qualified, partially qualified, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong organisational skills, ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
• Professional, diplomatic, and a proactive team player.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Understanding of IFRS and GAAP reporting frameworks.
• Familiarity with accounting treatments for equities, bonds, derivatives, and funds.
