Wedding & Events Assistant – Full-Time (Mauritius)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Wedding & Events Assistant to join our team full‑time. You will gain hands‑on experience in the wedding and events industry, supporting couples from the first inquiry through to the big day.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with planning weddings and marriage proposals from inquiry to event day.
• Attend weddings and proposals, helping with setup, decorations, and on‑site coordination.
• Communicate with clients and suppliers via email, phone, and messaging apps.
• Prepare quotations, invoices, schedules, and planning documents.
• Support general administrative tasks and maintain office organization.
• Help maintain wedding décor, equipment, and supplies.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and French (spoken and written).
• Age 20 years or older and residing in the North of Mauritius.
• Organised, reliable, detail‑oriented and friendly when dealing with clients.
• Comfortable using a computer and eager to learn new software.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software tools.
