Accountant 1 – Fund Accounting (Entry Level)

About the role

As an Accountant 1 in the Fund Accounting team, you will develop foundational expertise while supporting the delivery of accurate and timely accounting services for a portfolio of investment funds. Working under supervision, you will handle routine transactions and core reporting activities, contributing to high‑quality client outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare basic financial statements, net asset value (NAV) calculations and related deliverables following established guidelines.
• Process daily fund accounting transactions such as bookkeeping entries, capital calls, distributions and investor notifications using designated systems.
• Reconcile transactions, prepare working papers and complete operational checklists to maintain accurate records.
• Support daily operations by tracking progress, completing timesheets, following workflows and escalating issues when required.
• Perform self‑reviews, assist senior team members and participate in training and development activities.
