Accountant – Finance Team

About the role

Tenfa Company Ltd is seeking a qualified or part‑qualified Accountant to join its Finance team. Working closely with the Head Accountant, this role offers a great opportunity for an accounts professional to grow and develop.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise sales invoicing and returns, managing a team of accounts clerks.
• Review debtor ageing, follow up overdue accounts, and handle stock counts and reconciliations.
• Reconcile control accounts, perform bank reconciliation and prepare remittance advice.
• Prepare weekly and monthly management accounts, audit files, and MRA reporting.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns.

Required profile

• ACCA qualified, part‑qualified or equivalent.
• Previous experience as an Assistant Accountant/Accountant in FMCG, manufacturing or retail.
• Experience preparing management accounts and VAT returns independently.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (VLookup, Index Match, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting).
• Proficient in Sage accounting software.
• Competent use of MS Outlook and Word.
