Accounting Manager - Private Equity & Real Estate

About the role

Ocorian's Asset Manager Services team supports asset managers, private wealth, corporate and issuer clients with operational and regulatory complexity. As Manager, Accounting (Private Equity & Real Estate), you will lead the delivery of high-quality accounting and fund accounting services across a portfolio of clients and client entities, ensure an excellent client experience and consistent service excellence, and oversee and develop a team of accounting professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the trusted partner for a portfolio of Private Equity and Real Estate clients, building strong relationships and delivering an outstanding client experience.
• Take ownership of fund accounting and reporting, ensuring accurate, timely and high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with clients, auditors and internal teams to provide seamless service and practical solutions.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team, fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture.
• Balance priorities, meet deadlines, maintain high standards and support team wellbeing.
• Drive continuous improvement, identify smarter ways of working and embrace innovation and technology.
• Proactively manage risks, resolve challenges and act as a key escalation point for client matters.
• Strengthen client relationships and identify opportunities to add value to the business.

Required profile

• ACCA/ACA fully qualified.
• At least 7 years' post-qualification experience.
• Finance industry and/or accounting and auditing experience with exposure to global businesses.
• Proven people management and supervisory skills, with at least 3 years at management level.
• Knowledge of fund accounting for PE/RE funds is a must; fund administration is desirable.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of PE and RE fund accounting and reporting, waterfall calculations and IFRS.
• Advanced Excel is a must.
• Proven working knowledge of Paxus and eFront, and willingness to master them and Value Financials software.
