About the role
PIM Limited is looking for a reliable and organised Accounts Clerk to join its Finance team in Port Louis. The role covers day-to-day bookkeeping, invoicing, bank reconciliations and support for month-end accounting.
Key responsibilities
- Record sales, receipts and payments in SAGE.
- Prepare payment vouchers and cheques.
- Perform bank reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies.
- Process GRNs and purchase orders.
- Prepare and issue sales invoices.
- Assist with customer account reconciliation and follow-up.
- Prepare import loans and letters of credit.
- Assist with month-end accounting activities.
- Maintain proper accounting records and filing.
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
Required profile
- ACCA Level 1 or a certificate/diploma in accounting or finance.
- Previous experience in a similar position is an advantage.
- Good numerical and organisational skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
