AR/AP Accountant

About the role
iQera is looking for an AR/AP Accountant based in Port Louis, Mauritius. The role covers the end-to-end Order to Cash process, from setting up customers and suppliers to monitoring cash flow and ensuring accounting closure.
Key responsibilities
- Create customer and supplier accounts
- Identify, codify, enter and write customer regulations
- Identify, codify, capture and issue supplier payments
- Update and verify real-time compliance of customers' and suppliers' outstanding amounts
- Monitor cash flow
- Ensure accounting closure
- Model and write good practices and procedures
- Manage administrative tasks related to the Order to Cash accounting and financial processes
Required profile
- Graduate with at least 2 years of work experience in similar roles
- Knowledge of French accounting
- Knowledge of the credit chain, from offer to litigation collection
- Good oral and written communication, writing skills and sense of the collective
- Comfortable speaking with the team and manager
- Rigour in managing and monitoring files, autonomy and ability to plan and organise workload
