Alarm Operator

About the role

The Brink's Company is looking for an Alarm Operator to join its Mauritius team. The role involves analysing and managing alarm triggers and technical signals received by the monitoring centre, ensuring swift and accurate response to protect client assets.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse alarm signals using dedicated software and tools.
• Confirm alarms, initiate patrol interventions and contact authorities as required.
• Collaborate with internal Response and Electronic teams and external stakeholders such as clients and the Mauritius Police Force.
• Handle client calls and requests outside regular office hours, maintaining service continuity.
• Maintain and update CCTV, intrusion detection, access control and alarm system records.
• Identify technical intervention needs and follow up with customers to improve service reliability.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with SOX, Health & Safety and Brinks policies.

Required profile

• Minimum SC (Secondary Certificate) qualification.
• At least one year experience in a call‑center environment, preferably handling incoming calls.
• Physically fit with high attention to detail.
• Strong typing speed and proficiency with computer tools.
