About the role
As an Analyst I in the Risk Monitoring Team, you will support the day‑to‑day fraud and dispute operations for Checkout.com’s global e‑commerce merchant portfolio. You will review alerts, investigate suspicious activity, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to protect both merchants and shoppers.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain a deep understanding of acquiring risks and card‑scheme rules.
- Perform background checks on merchants using internal monitoring tools and external resources.
- Identify risky business practices and propose risk‑based mitigations.
- Prepare and share reports on risk concerns with relevant stakeholders.
- Analyse and investigate suspected fraudulent transactions.
- Provide feedback and innovative ideas to improve risk‑monitoring processes.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk, Management, Finance, Business, Mathematics, Economics or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar risk or fraud monitoring role.
- Strong focus on structured processes and efficiency.
- Excellent collaborative and communication skills across departments.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, agile environment.
