Assistant Front Office Manager

About the role

The Assistant Front Office Manager supports the Front Office team at Constance Belle Mare Plage, ensuring smooth operations, high guest satisfaction, and effective staff management in a luxury resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all Front Office operations, maintain area cleanliness, and ensure compliance with hotel standards.
• Produce administrative and statistical reports for the Rooms Division Manager and manage vacation planning and time‑keeping.
• Handle guest complaints promptly, maintain an updated guest history system, and ensure proactive guest care.
• Oversee staff scheduling, training, appraisal, and corrective actions to meet business needs.
• Conduct weekly cash and float spot checks, manage accounting procedures, and coordinate with Housekeeping for optimal room availability.
• Promote hotel outlets and services, liaise with sales for referrals, and ensure timely re‑ordering of Front Office supplies.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hotel industry experience, preferably in a luxury resort.
• At least 1 year in a similar supervisory role is a plus.
• Experience in remote island locations is advantageous.
• Fluency in English and another language (written and verbal); additional language is a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of electronic hotel reservation systems.
• Ability to multitask and manage payroll and inventory.
• Understanding of hotel procedures, policies, and accounting processes.
