Assistant Handyperson

About the role

Veranda Pointe Aux Biches is looking for an Assistant Handyperson to help with routine maintenance and repair work. The role keeps facilities, equipment, swimming pools and water features properly maintained while upholding safety and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the Maintenance Supervisor informed of any unusual matters or issues affecting maintenance operations.
• Carry out routine maintenance and assist with repair works so that facilities and equipment function properly.
• Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of swimming pools, ponds and water features.
• Implement corrective actions promptly, minimise wastage and maintain good working relationships with colleagues.
• Support the Technical Assistant and Maintenance Supervisor in their duties.

Required profile

• Form III level of education or equivalent, with basic knowledge of maintenance and repair works.
• Previous experience in a maintenance role is an advantage.
• A practical, reliable and proactive team player with good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
