Assistant Villa Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and organised Assistant Villa Manager to support the Head of Service at our luxury resort in Mauritius. The role ensures smooth day‑to‑day operations of our villas, delivers personalised guest experiences and helps lead the villa team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Villa Manager in daily villa operations, ensuring each villa meets luxury standards before guest arrival and throughout the stay.
• Monitor cleanliness, amenities, equipment and overall condition; conduct regular inspections and follow up on any deficiencies.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and other departments to resolve issues promptly.
• Manage villa readiness, arrivals, departures, special occasions and VIP requirements, communicating guest preferences to relevant teams.
• Provide highly personalised, discreet service to villa guests, handling requests, celebrations, dining arrangements and excursions.
• Address guest concerns and complaints professionally, follow up on feedback and ensure corrective actions.
• Support the Villa Manager in supervising the villa team, conducting briefings, monitoring attendance and grooming, and ensuring adequate coverage.
