Associate, Analytics

About the role

Checkout.com is seeking a data‑driven Associate, Analytics to become the analytical backbone of its commercial performance in Ebene, Mauritius. Reporting to the Manager of Incentives & Commercial Reporting, you will own day‑to‑day execution of complex datasets, build and maintain dashboards, and calculate commercial compensation for global sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate, audit, and administer commercial compensation and bonus plans, ensuring accurate and timely payouts.
• Maintain the commercial reporting cadence by extracting and manipulating raw data to provide transparent business performance insights.
• Leverage BigQuery, Looker, and advanced Google Sheets to build and sustain single‑source‑of‑truth dashboards.
• Identify manual bottlenecks and design automated, scalable workflow solutions for reporting and incentive management.
• Partner with the Revenue Operations team to translate complex datasets into actionable insights for commercial leaders.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in Data Analytics, Revenue/Sales Operations, Finance, or a similar analytical role.
• Quantitative degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑moving, ambiguous environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Hands‑on experience with Google BigQuery.
• Advanced dashboarding skills in Looker.
• Expert‑level Google Sheets, including complex formulas and financial modelling.
