Assistant Manager - Payment

About the role

As an Assistant Manager – Payments you will ensure accurate, timely and compliant processing of payments for a portfolio of clients, supporting the Payments Team and collaborating with client administration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the Payments Team to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Review and approve payment instructions, runs and supplier data across banking and internal systems.
• Manage the payments mailbox, respond to queries and coordinate with Client Administration.
• Oversee payment workflows in eFront and other platforms, ensuring accuracy.
• Drive automation of payment and cash‑management processes.
• Monitor KPIs, quality metrics and report on performance.
• Identify and escalate operational risks and support cross‑functional collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 5‑7 years of experience in payments, banking operations or financial services.
• Proven ability to supervise, coach and develop team members.
• Strong understanding of payment controls and operational risk management.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience using eFront or similar payment platforms.
• Comfortable with digital workflow and virtual meeting tools.
