Assistant Accountant

About the role

Build your accounting career as part of our Global Accounting team, supporting finance operations across a growing number of international jurisdictions. You will gain hands‑on experience in accounts payable, reconciliations, month‑end activities and financial reporting while developing a strong foundation in accounting within a global business.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, employee expenses and other accounting transactions, maintaining accurate financial records.
• Prepare and post payment and periodic journal entries as part of regular accounting activities.
• Perform supplier statement and balance‑sheet reconciliations to support the quality and integrity of financial information.
• Contribute to month‑end accounting activities and the preparation of financial information.
• Support tax, VAT and statutory payment activities across relevant entities.
• Collaborate with colleagues and external auditors to support local and Group audit activities.
• Participate in finance projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives that enhance accounting processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, or equivalent qualification.
• Practical exposure within finance or accounting with a good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, focused on maintaining accurate financial information.
• Good communication and collaboration skills with an interest in learning and developing within a global finance environment.

• Ability to prepare accounting information, reconciliations and financial summaries.
