Senior Accountant, Fund Accounting

About the role

This is a review‑focused senior accountant position responsible for validating fund accounting deliverables and ensuring quality standards across complex accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Review and sign off on fund accounting activities such as capital calls, distributions, and fund books, ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
• Identify exceptions, prepare error reports, and provide technical feedback to preparers.
• Support analysis and resolution of complex transactions, communicating solutions to stakeholders.
• Contribute to operational best practices and assist the Assistant Manager with workload planning and deadline coordination.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; ACCA Level 3 or ACA qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in fund accounting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS or GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and quality‑assurance skills with high attention to detail.
