Associate Executive – Accounting

About the role

The Apex Group is seeking an Associate Executive to join its global finance team. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records for a portfolio of entities and delivering timely financial statements in line with IFRS standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate accounting records for assigned entities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts.
• Produce annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Process journals, manage the general ledger and perform bank, balance‑sheet and inter‑company reconciliations.
• Coordinate year‑end and periodic closing activities and liaise with external auditors.
• Prepare tax computations, support tax return filings and statutory filings where applicable.
• Monitor reporting deadlines, ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide financial information to management, clients and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with ad‑hoc accounting assignments and complete required regulatory surveys.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• ACC A/ACA/CPA qualification (completed or in progress) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and accounting standards.
