Compliance Assistant

About the role

As a Compliance Assistant you will begin your career in compliance by supporting key regulatory and risk management activities across the business. Working closely with experienced team members, you will gain hands‑on exposure to due diligence, client reviews, and compliance processes while building knowledge of AML/CFT requirements and regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with regulatory approval processes, ensuring client documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained in line with compliance requirements.
• Support Customer Due Diligence (CDD) activities, including background checks, screening clients through World‑Check, and conducting basic risk assessments under guidance.
• Help review client files and gather information for compliance assessments, periodic reviews, and regulatory reporting activities.
• Assist in preparing compliance reports and maintaining records across AML/CFT, corporate governance, and internal compliance frameworks.
• Follow established compliance procedures and information security standards, safeguarding client information and escalating potential risks when identified.

Required profile

• A university degree is required.
