Compliance Officer / Manager / Data Protection Officer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer who will also act as Data Protection Officer for a financial services management company. The role involves developing, implementing and monitoring compliance frameworks while ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor compliance policies and procedures.
• Draft compliance manuals and ensure organization meets legal and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct compliance, customer and business risk assessments.
• Manage FATCA/CRS classification, filing processes and due‑diligence checks.
• Oversee transaction monitoring, KYC onboarding and application reviews.
• Investigate and report compliance violations, maintain and update the compliance program.
• Coordinate inspections, audits and reporting with regulators and senior management.
• Provide training and advisory support to employees on compliance matters.

Required profile

• Degree in administration, law or related field; ICAEW/STEP qualification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in financial services or a management company.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and financial reporting regimes.
• Excellent managerial, leadership and decision‑making abilities.
