Coordinator, Maintenance

About the role

The Maintenance Coordinator will oversee daily preventive and corrective maintenance activities across the hotel, ensuring all facilities, equipment, and guest areas meet safety, efficiency, and brand standards. This role acts as the central hub for work orders, vendor coordination, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily maintenance work orders and assign technicians.
• Monitor and ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance schedules.
• Track and update maintenance records, reports, and asset databases.
• Manage relationships with vendors and contractors for repair and maintenance work.
• Maintain inventory levels and process purchase requests for maintenance supplies.
• Liaise with operational departments to address urgent maintenance needs.
• Support compliance with health, safety, fire, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with facility improvement projects and hotel renovations.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in maintenance coordination, facilities, or hotel engineering.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Electrical and plumbing maintenance expertise.
• General building maintenance proficiency.
• Experience with CMMS software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
