Creative Engineer

About the role

The Creative Engineer will design, adapt and deliver high‑quality digital creative assets for Publicis Zurich. The role blends strong graphic‑design fundamentals with advanced digital‑production skills in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and web technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Create and adapt static and digital campaign assets for social, display, web, presentation and selected print formats using Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Develop HTML5 banners with Adobe Animate or hand‑coded HTML5, CSS and JavaScript based on supplied masters and technical specs.
• Produce digital animations using CSS, JavaScript or GSAP and apply motion‑design principles, with knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
• Translate approved concepts into scalable, multi‑format, multi‑language executions while maintaining brand consistency.
• Assess briefs, clarify missing inputs and recommend feasible production solutions.
• Prepare clean, well‑structured working files and deliverables following naming conventions and version‑control standards.
• Optimize and test assets for visual quality, file size, performance, browser compatibility and advertising specifications.
• Manage multiple assignments in parallel, integrate feedback accurately and meet agreed timelines.

Required profile

• Strong graphic‑design fundamentals covering layout, typography, colour, composition and image editing.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project managers, art directors, designers and production specialists.
• Attention to detail and capacity to handle several projects simultaneously without compromising quality.
