Customer Service Representative

About the role

Otayo, Mauritius' leading event ticketing platform, is looking for a dynamic Customer Service Representative to be the primary point of contact for ticket buyers. You will handle inquiries across phone, email and WhatsApp, ensuring a smooth experience from booking to post‑event follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer queries via phone, email and WhatsApp, providing accurate information on tickets, schedules and pricing.
• Process booking changes, cancellations and complaints, maintaining high satisfaction levels.
• Create quotes, confirm reservations and keep the booking system up‑to‑date with new orders, modifications and cancellations.
• Support on‑site events by assisting with set‑up, crowd flow and real‑time issue resolution.
• Maintain organized documentation and administrative records related to bookings.

Required profile

• Minimum diploma; a degree is a plus.
• Excellent communication in English and French with a friendly phone manner.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and able to work under pressure.
• Comfortable using computers and basic office software.
