Domain Architect – Cloud & Infrastructure

About the role

The Domain Architect (Cloud & Infrastructure) will shape the enterprise‑wide cloud strategy, define target‑state architectures and ensure they align with business goals, regulatory requirements and the group’s ICT standards. You will work closely with technology chapters to deliver innovative, secure and scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the definition of cloud architecture vision, principles and target‑state designs across the enterprise.
• Document current (“As Is”) and future (“To Be”) architectures and create actionable deployment plans.
• Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies and assess their impact.
• Drive architecture decisions for DevOps, automation, platform engineering and CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide guidance on container platforms and orchestration (OpenShift, Kubernetes) ensuring secure, resilient deployments.
• Collaborate with engineering, security and infrastructure teams to guarantee buildable and operable designs.
• Govern and review cloud and infrastructure solution designs for consistency with enterprise standards.
• Continuously develop personal capabilities through training and professional accreditation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT, preferably in domain architecture with a focus on infrastructure.
• Ability to anticipate technological shifts, influence stakeholders and foster cross‑cultural collaboration.
• Strong communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
