Employee Relations Manager

About the role

Dayforce is seeking an Employee Relations Manager to lead the handling of complex workplace issues, investigations and performance management across its operations. The role partners with legal, HR partners and business leaders to ensure compliance with employment laws and to foster a positive work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage high‑risk and sensitive employee relations matters, including investigations, escalated performance issues and involuntary terminations.
• Collaborate with Legal to ensure adherence to employment legislation and regulations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated employee relations queries, providing guidance to HR partners and business leaders.
• Assess and resolve cases by reviewing evidence, evaluating risk and recommending appropriate actions.
• Track investigations and disciplinary actions in internal systems and report on trends.
• Identify process inefficiencies, propose improvements and implement solutions.
• Develop and deliver employee relations training and communications to prevent issues.
• Partner with HR on disability leave management, reintegration and accommodation requests.

Required profile

• Thorough understanding of HR and employee relations principles, practices and procedures.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and sound judgment.
• Knowledge of employment and labor laws in Mauritius; EMEA market knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
