Entertainment Technician – Resort AV & Lighting

About the role

The Entertainment Technician supports Constance Belle Mare Plage’s vibrant entertainment programme by preparing, installing and maintaining lighting, audio‑visual and power distribution equipment for daily shows and special events.

Key responsibilities

• Install, operate and maintain audio, lighting, video and projection equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections and troubleshooting of technical faults.
• Set up and operate music equipment for bar and venue shows, including DJ duties on event nights.
• Assist the Technical Supervisor with upkeep of scenery, lighting and general facility technical standards.
• Provide guest service in line with resort standards, answering questions and giving directions.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and report any health‑and‑safety concerns.

Required profile

• Energetic, flexible and self‑motivated with a "can do" attitude.
• Good communication skills, reliable and detail‑oriented.
• Ability to work in active, inclement or extreme weather conditions.
• Physically capable of frequent lifting, climbing, squatting and standing for extended periods.
• Available to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.

Required skills

• Digital audio and sound reinforcement.
• Conventional and moving light operation.
• Digital light board programming and operation.
• Video engineering and projection mapping.
• Equipment troubleshooting and maintenance for theatrical and live venues.
• Understanding of electrical circuitry, proper cabling and wiring of electronic devices.
• DJ performance for event nights.
