Execution Trader

About the role

We are partnering with a growing investment management firm that seeks an Execution Trader to join its trading team. This junior‑level position offers exposure to a fast‑paced, buy‑side environment where you will work closely with portfolio managers and support the execution of investment decisions across multiple asset classes.

Key responsibilities

• Execute trades across equities, fixed income, FX, and funds.
• Ensure accurate and timely execution in line with portfolio manager instructions.
• Monitor orders and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with brokers, custodians, and counterparties.
• Handle trade capture, allocation, and reconciliations.
• Support post‑trade processes and resolve any breaks.
• Contribute to risk management, compliance, and process improvements.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a trading or investment environment.
• Exposure to trading platforms such as Bloomberg, Iress, or TradingView is beneficial.
• Strong Excel and data‑handling skills.
• High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Proactive, solutions‑driven mindset with a genuine interest in markets.
• Strong communication skills (English essential, French beneficial).
