Facilities Maintenance Officer

About the role

Pick & Eat is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Officer to support the Development and Asset Manager in managing KFC's assets and to coordinate maintenance activities across its outlets. Only the best candidates will be invited to an interview.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment and infrastructure to identify maintenance needs.
• Coordinate and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Supervise contractors so that work meets specifications and safety standards, and evaluate their performance and service quality.
• Obtain quotations and help procure maintenance services and materials.
• Monitor utility consumption and recommend energy-saving initiatives.
• Assist in preparing and monitoring maintenance budgets.
• Liaise with approved pest control contractors, ensure treatments follow agreed schedules and regulations, and keep records of inspections, treatments and contractor reports.

Required profile

• Diploma in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in facility maintenance.
• Valid driving licence.

Required skills

• Strong organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work under pressure on several projects at once.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and GMAO or similar maintenance management software.
