About the role
South Suez Capital Limited is seeking a full‑time Financial Analyst to join its Risk, Reporting and Finance team. The role combines hands‑on fund accounting with the development and maintenance of internal reporting tools, data flows and dashboards.
Key responsibilities
- Support and enhance the firm’s reporting systems, including data collection, validation, automation and dashboard creation.
- Prepare quarterly and annual fund accounting deliverables, investor reporting packs and ad‑hoc information requests.
- Monitor and analyse financial statements, capital activity, valuations and ESG/KPI metrics of underlying funds and portfolio companies.
- Maintain and improve investment and reporting databases, ensuring data integrity, version control and audit trails.
- Document processes and propose pragmatic improvements, including the responsible use of AI tools to streamline repetitive tasks.
Required profile
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or Business.
- ACCA/ACA/CFA qualification or actively pursuing one.
- 4‑5 years of experience in a Big 4 firm, management company or financial institution with private‑equity exposure.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Experience with the Microsoft 365 environment.
