Fleet Officer

About the role

The Fleet Officer will support the efficient management of our company’s vehicle fleet, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations and high levels of customer service. This role involves coordinating maintenance, repairs, insurance matters and various administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls, respond to client queries and manage email correspondence.
• Process and forward correspondence such as fines, vehicle documents, road tax and insurance vignettes while maintaining confidentiality.
• Schedule vehicle servicing and repair appointments and prepare related reports.
• Ensure office equipment is functional and coordinate procurement of supplies and equipment.
• Coordinate the movement of replacement vehicles between clients, dealerships, workshops and company premises.
• Follow up on insurance matters, including accidents, renewals and dispatch of documents.
• Prepare and monitor accident claims on behalf of clients.
• Coordinate repairs of client vehicles with workshops and dealerships.
• Ensure company vehicles comply with Road Traffic Act requirements and remain in good running condition.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Higher School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in fleet management, administration, customer service or a related field is advantageous.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Valid manual driving licence is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
