About the role
Medscheme is seeking a detail‑oriented Freelance Coder to support the team in delivering accurate and consistent clinical coding of medical information.
Required profile
- Working knowledge of ICD‑10 and applicable coding standards.
- Good understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, diagnoses, procedures and clinical documentation.
- Previous experience in medical/clinical coding (advantage).
- Ability to accurately interpret and code clinical information.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
