French Teacher (Year 7-13)

About the role

Northfields International School is seeking a dedicated First‑Language French Teacher to deliver French instruction to students from Year 7 through Year 13. The role is based on the Labourdonnais campus in Mauritius and forms part of a vibrant, English‑medium international learning community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging French lessons that align with the school’s curriculum, policies and external assessment requirements.
• Assess student progress regularly, providing targeted feedback to support and challenge each learner.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and cultural awareness.

Required profile

• First‑language French speaker with a passion for teaching and a strong commitment to student development.
• Proven experience teaching French at secondary level, preferably in an international or IB setting.
• Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
