Fund Accountant - Closed Ended Funds

About the role

Apex Group, a fund administration and middle office solutions provider founded in Bermuda in 2003, is hiring a Fund Accountant for closed-ended funds. The role covers NAV reporting, financial statements and audit liaison for private equity clients, with overall responsibility for client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the NAV reporting pack for private equity funds, on the frequency required by clients, including possible review
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual account and financial statements, on the frequency required by clients, including possible review
• Liaise with auditors to ensure audits are completed on time
• Take part in transfer agency transactions as and when required
• Handle overall responsibility for client relationships, inquiries and meetings

Required profile

• Around 1-2 years of accounting working experience; fund industry experience is an advantage
• ACCA qualified, partly qualified or any equivalent qualification
• Excellent time management and organisational skills to meet tight deadlines
• Hard worker ready to put in extra hours
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Organised, accurate, willing to learn and take on new tasks, and a team player

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Experience of fund accounting software (Investran, Efront, Paxus or Allvue) is an advantage
