Fund Accountant

About the role

The Apex Group is seeking a Fund Accountant to support hedge fund clients with NAV reporting, financial statement preparation, and audit coordination. This entry‑level position offers exposure to fund administration processes within a global organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare NAV reporting packs for hedge funds on required frequencies.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual account/financial statements.
• Liaise with auditors to ensure timely audit completion.
• Assist with Transfer Agency transactions as needed.
• Maintain overall client relationships, handle inquiries and attend meetings.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of accounting experience (fund industry experience advantageous).
• ACCA qualified, partially qualified, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with fund accounting software (Investran, Efront, Paxus, Allvue) is a plus.
• Strong time‑management and organisational abilities to meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work extra hours when required.
• Good interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
