Fund Accountant

About the role

Apex Group is seeking a Fund Accountant to join its global fund administration team. You will support private equity and hedge fund clients by preparing and reviewing key financial reports and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare NAV reporting packs for private equity and hedge funds according to client frequency.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual account/financial statements and conduct reviews as needed.
• Liaise with auditors to ensure timely audit completion.
• Execute transfer agency transactions when required.
• Manage client inquiries, relationships and attend client meetings.

Required profile

• Approximately 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the fund industry.
• ACCA qualified, partially qualified, or holding an equivalent accounting qualification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with fund accounting software such as Investran, Efront, Paxus or Allvue is advantageous.
• Strong time‑management and organisational abilities to meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work extra hours when necessary and a collaborative team player.
