General Manager - Real Estate Industry Organisation

About the role

Proactive Talent Solutions is recruiting, on behalf of its client REDM (Real Estate Developers Mauritius), an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the organisation's operations and help develop the real estate sector in Mauritius. The position is full-time or part-time, depending on the candidate's experience, seniority and availability.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with government institutions, regulators and industry stakeholders, monitor regulatory developments and coordinate industry consultations.
• Build and maintain relationships with members, public institutions and industry partners, and represent collective interests.
• Coordinate and drive industry projects, working groups, research and collaborative initiatives, ensuring implementation and follow-up.
• Manage day-to-day activities, coordinate Board and member meetings and oversee administration and reporting.
• Support industry communications, strategic partnerships, networking opportunities and events.

Required profile

• Ideally 8-10 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, industry relations, project management, business development, corporate affairs or related fields.
• Good understanding of the Mauritian business, regulatory and institutional environment.
• Experience in industry organisations or public-private sector engagement is an advantage.
• Ability to represent the collective interests of REDM's members with complete impartiality, free from conflicts of interest.
