Head of Projects

About the role

The Head of Projects is a senior leadership position within the Property Cluster of Mont Choisy Group. Reporting to the Chief Investment & Development Officer, the role oversees the full lifecycle of property development projects, ensuring they meet the Group’s standards of quality, commercial performance and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Strategic Management – work with senior leadership to set annual budgets, priorities and align projects with the three‑to‑five‑year development plan.
• Project Execution and Delivery – manage design, construction, commissioning, handover and post‑handover defect management while controlling budgets and timelines.
• People Leadership – build and lead a high‑performing Projects team across cost control, project management and post‑handover functions.
• Financial Management – develop project budgets, monitor expenditures, report cost variances and drive financial efficiency.
• Risk Management and Governance – identify, assess and mitigate project risks, maintain risk registers and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Management Reporting – prepare accurate project reports on progress, milestones, costs and risks for senior management and Board meetings.

Required profile

• Degree or professional qualification in Construction, Project Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related field; postgraduate qualification advantageous.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, MRICS or equivalent are a plus.
• Minimum 10 years senior management experience in high‑end property development and project delivery.
• Proven track record managing complex developments from design through construction, handover and post‑handover.
