German-speaking IT Support Technician (Level 1 & 2)

About the role

IDS Ltd. is seeking a German‑speaking IT Support Technician to provide Level 1 and Level 2 assistance to its users in Ébène, Mauritius. The role requires fluent German communication and strong technical knowledge to resolve hardware, software, and network issues.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 IT support to end‑users.
• Install, configure, and maintain workstations, peripherals, and printers.
• Manage Active Directory, user accounts, DHCP, and DNS.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online services.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network incidents.
• Configure and maintain firewall security rules.
• Support VMware virtualization environments.
• Provide VoIP/Asterisk telephony support.
• Use remote‑support tools to assist users.
• Prioritize, track, and resolve incidents until closure.

Required profile

• HSC/BAC – BCS or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Level 1/2 IT support.
• Fluent German (speaking, listening, reading, writing).
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Professional, reliable, and team‑oriented attitude.
