Guest Service Agent – Front Office

About the role

The Guest Service Agent – Front Office is the first point of contact for guests at Shanti Maurice Resort & Spa in Bel Ombre. Working full‑time on‑site, you will welcome visitors, manage arrivals and departures, and ensure a smooth, memorable stay from check‑in to check‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and handle all check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Manage reservations, room allocations and update guest profiles in the property management system.
• Respond to guest inquiries in person, by phone or email and coordinate with other departments to fulfil requests.
• Process payments, billing and maintain accurate financial records.
• Provide concierge assistance such as transport arrangements and activity bookings.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and promote resort services.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with a courteous, professional demeanor.
• Excellent verbal and written English; additional languages are a plus.
• Reliable, team‑oriented and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Previous front‑office or hospitality experience in a resort or hotel is preferred.
• Formal education in hospitality, tourism or a related field is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with front‑office and reservation software.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Experience handling payments and billing procedures.
