Head of Enterprise Architecture

About the role

The Head of Enterprise Architecture will define and develop complex architecture roadmaps, practices, and processes that embed strategic applications for a dedicated portfolio. This senior role links business mission, vision, and strategy to IT strategy, ensuring an integrated, efficient, sustainable, and adaptable solution landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain architecture vision, roadmaps, and processes for the portfolio.
• Align IT strategy with business strategy and document using multiple architectural models.
• Provide architecture advice and facilitate alignment between business, technology, and transformation activities.
• Evaluate solution architectures for technical standards, scalability, robustness, and maintainability.
• Identify and mitigate technical, operational, and strategic risks.
• Assess security measures, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Ensure solutions are flexible, adaptable to future growth, and capable of handling expected workloads.
• Document assessment findings, deliver actionable recommendations, and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Develop functional area architecture, roadmaps, and stakeholder engagement plans.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise architecture and strategic IT planning.
• Strong ability to translate business goals into technical architecture.
• Experience evaluating solutions against technical standards and best practices.
• Capability to identify, assess, and mitigate architectural risks.
• Knowledge of security standards and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and reporting.
